Give The Gift Of A TSSB Subscription This July 4 Weekend!
Help spread the word of The Steele Sports Bar and save some $ if you wish to upgrade to a paid subscription and support the site's growth...
Good Morning All!
I hope you had a wonderful July 4 and celebrated the American way with plenty of hot dogs, ice cold beers, fireworks and all the baseball you could handle.
I certainly accomplished the latter. I estimate I watched roughly 10 or so hours of baseball on Thursday, and it was awesome.
Anyway, with a long holiday weekend still ahead of us, I wanted to reach out to you all and ask for your help with something.
I want to spread the word of The Steele Sports Bar to as many people as possible in order to continue to grow the site.
I really do believe in the potential of this website / newsletter, and I’m working hard to bring you great things on a daily basis. I want to establish our own slice of sports heaven in this corner of the internet, and together we can create something truly special.
If you are willing and happy to help, then just clicking the share button below would be an incredible assist:
Another great way to help spread the word of The Steele Sports Bar is by gifting a subscription.
And, given it is a long holiday weekend and we’re all in the mood to party and celebrate, why not surprise a sports fanatic in your life by giving them the phenomenal gift of a subscription?
And, as a special thank you for doing so, you will receive a 25% discount on a paid annual subscription!
This special offer will run through August 1, so you have plenty of time to take advantage.
Now, an important note. As I’ve outlined before, all content will remain free on The Steele Sports Bar.
You may be wondering why bother upgrading to a paid subscription if all the content remains free. Good point. However, allow me to explain.
Firstly, I don’t want to limit those who are unable to commit to a paid subscription by putting a paywall on everything. But, for those who are willing to upgrade to paid, I will put together some exclusive benefits like Zoom chats with special guests, weekly mailbags, the chance to pick a topic for me to write about and an opportunity to come on The Andrew Steele Podcast and talk sports with me. Now that would be fun.
Secondly, any money we get from subscriptions will go back into The Steele Sports Bar pot. That is used to cover expenses like photo licenses, podcast equipment and, eventually travel expenses as I want to start getting to different ballparks and sporting events to bring you unique content.
Again, everything we post on a daily basis will remain free of charge, but any support of any kind will be forever appreciated.
I’m already beyond grateful for your support in reading the newsletter every single day and helping this website to grow.
I’m in the process of making incremental changes to the site to streamline what we do here and make our mission statement clear - post to come on that. But, in short, I want to write about sports for the everyman sports fan. And, given my background in baseball, there will be a heavy slant towards baseball coverage.
With the All-Star break hurtling into view and the trade deadline fast approaching, there will plenty to write about as we head into the second half of the 2024 MLB season. As such, now is the perfect time to get on board and become a part of what we’re trying to build here at The Steele Sports Bar.
So, again, if you would be so kind as to spread the word and share this site, that would mean the world.
If you also have a sports fanatic in your life who you think would love what we do here, then please feel free to give the gift of a subscription!
And, finally, if you want to support the future growth of this website and be involved in exclusive Zoom chats with special guests, weekly mailbags and the chance to come and talk sports on the podcast, you can now get 25% off an annual paid subscription. Offer runs through August 1.
Thank you all once again for your continued support. It means everything to me and I couldn’t do this without you.
Enjoy the rest of your long July 4 holiday weekend.
