Lots More To Come At Blogs Of Steele...
Blogs Of Steele is officially a week old. Well, a week and a day old but who’s counting really.
It has been an amazing first week. We’ve had some great responses, some brilliant feedback and we can see our audience base growing. We know that’s only going to get bigger and bigger with time.
We’ve signed our first professional photo license to make sure we have images to help our stories pop. You’ll also start to see the incredible illustrations from the pencil of Jon Daly of Brave Buffalo on this site very soon. Jon’s awesome work will help launch our ‘Andrew’s Alternative Mount Rushmore’ feature, which we’re sure will be a hit.
And the first three episodes of ‘The Andrew Steele Podcast’ have gone down a storm - just wait until you see some of the guests we’ve got coming up.
As you’ve seen so far, we’re going to bring you unique analysis and breakdowns from all four major sports in America. Plus lots, lots, lots more. Trust us, there isn’t anything we won’t talk about. Except for politics. We’ll leave that to the experts.
Anyway, while the NFL season is done, we’ll be enlisting the help of Draft experts to get you excited about what high-end prospect your team could take. We’ll also have reaction to the quarterback carousel with some big names - Aaron Rodgers, anyone - likely on the move this offseason.
Spring training is upon us and, with Opening Day edging ever closer, we’ve got plenty of baseball content in the pipeline. You’ll see two brilliant hockey guests on ‘The Andrew Steele Podcast’ later this week and we’re coming up with content plans for basketball as we speak.
We also have some really unique long-form features and stories in the works, which you will start to see rolled out soon. Don’t worry, there will be non-sports stories too. We cater for everyone here (tell a friend).
From hangouts to Q&A’s to interviews to subscriber-only chats, there’s truly so much to be excited about.
After all, Rome wasn’t built in a day but we promise you your patience will be rewarded.
We’re building big things here at Blogs Of Steele and we’re absolutely pumped you’ve decided to jump on this journey with us.
We hope many more of you come along for the ride.
Subscriptions are and always will be the lifeblood of what we do here at Blogs Of Steele. They will always drive what we do. As a result, while all of our content has been free so far, we will start transitioning to some paid content over the next couple of weeks.
Paid subscriptions - or pledges if you don’t want to be tied up to a commitment - will allow us to continue to produce daily content but also come up with new features. We’ve got grand plans to attend events such as the 2023 MLB All-Star Game and do live podcasts and YouTube streams. Your support and generosity will ensure that you get the best and most unique coverage of what you love every single day.
That’s a promise.
Now, don’t worry. Not everything will be behind a paywall and there will still be plenty of free content. ‘The Andrew Steele Podcast’ will remain free too.
