This just seems like one of those years where the talent is such that there was always going to be five or six eggregious snubs. Feels like more than any other year there's a gap between "playing well" and "playing poorly". Corbin Carroll has a 143 OPS+ and the implicit takeaway from this snubs list is that he is undeserving! Doesn't help that we need to pretend the Rockies, Marlins, White Sox, Braves, Orioles, and several other teams have a player playing at a top-25 in their league level (they clearly do not).
Suzuki being left off the ASG roster is the biggest head scratcher I can remember. Even if he doesn't have the biggest name, how can you miss those stats?
